Kathy Coburn

Kathy brings over 40 years of invaluable experience managing law offices to Epperson Law Group, PLLC. Shortly after moving from Mississippi to her dream home in the mountains of North Carolina in 1997, she began working for Claude D. Smith, Jr., partner of Deal, Moseley & Smith LLC in downtown Boone. Claude found a perfect partner and steadfast right hand in Kathy, who managed everything from docket planning to estate conveyances to civil litigation. Outside the office, Kathy has traveled the country on the back of a motorcycle, finds her greatest peace on the beach with the women in her family, and is happiest with her two dogs, Patch, a Mastiff/Saint Bernard mix, and her sire Benson, an English Mastiff.
